# Fengshan Police Precinct # |
This police precinct is in charge of Fengshan City, which is the satellite city to Kaohsiung City. Due to its proximity to greater Kaohsiung Metropolis, this police precinct has the highest density of population among all the seven police precincts. As a result, this precinct is faced with the highest crime rate and is in need of increased manpower. |
# Linyuan Police Precinct # |
There are two villages, Linyuan and Daliau, under control of this police precinct. In Linyuan Industrial Park, there are the Petrochemical industries that were established by the government in its Ten Great Development Projects, started more than a decade ago. Due to increasing awareness towards labor safety and environmental protection among the people, there were all kinds of protests and demonstrations that doubled the police work. However, these industries have undeniably provided a large contribution to our country's economic success for more than 10 years. |
# Renwu Police Precinct # |
This precinct is in charge of four villages: Renwu, Niausung, Dashu, and Dashe. Renda Industrial Park in Dashe and Linyuan Industrial Park in Linyuan are two major industrial areas in Taiwan. However, if you think that the air must have been heavily polluted, you would be greatly mistaken. There are many tourist destinations, such as Gunayin Mountain in Dashe, Chengching Lake in Niausung, and the world famous "Fo Guang Shan" in Dashu. You will definitely have a fruitful experience if you come to our district for a "spiritual journey". |
# Kangshan Police Precinct # |
It covers six villages and towns: Kangshan, Yanchau, Chiautou, Mituo, Tzguan, and Yungan. This is another police precinct that has a fairly high crime rate besides Fengshan Police Precinct. Yungan, Tzguan, and Mituo are three villages along the coast, so this precinct has the longest coastline and carries the most responsibility when dealing with security measures. Nonetheless, Keoliao's fresh seafood, the famous goat meat of Kangshan, and the guava indigenous to Yanchau will make your taste buds salivate. |
# Hunei Police Precinct # |
It has five villages: Luju, Hunei, Cheding, Alian and Tian-liau. The Hsindah harbor within Cheding is the largest deep-sea fishery port in South Taiwan. The distinct geography of the "Moon World" in Tianliao is a worthwhile traveling spot. |
# Chishan Police Precinct # |
There are two towns, Chishan and Meinung, and three villages, Shanlin, Neimen, and Jiashian under this precinct. This is the precinct that has the most police stations. Chishan, known for its banana farms, and Meinung, known for its friendliness and tranquility, are two very traditional Hukanese towns. In addition, Jiashian is the starting point on the way towards South Trans-Taiwan highway and Mount Jade National Park. Be sure to have a taste of its famous taro cakes and taro popsicles before your departure. |
# Liukuei Police Precinct # |
It has three mountain villages: Tauyuan, Sanmin, and Maulin. Due to its mountainous geography, the department's jurisdiction covers up to 59% of the entire county but only makes up 2% of the entire county's population. Primitive forests, placid streams and beautiful landscape are the area's attractions. The continuous mountain range and misty clouds along the grand South Trans-Taiwan highway, relaxing resorts in Maulin, stone houses rich with Lukay traditions, and the interesting celebrations of the aborigines not only provide you with visual enjoyments, but also cultural understanding. Our district is your best bet for the holidays. |
